Project description: The aim of the project is the education and empowerment of LGBT+ persons from different parts of Serbia. During the four-day activism school, 10 participants learned about various aspects of activist work and the struggle to improve the position of LGBTQ+ people in Serbia. Lectures were organized on public advocacy and initiating change, the history of the LGBTQ+ movement, public gatherings and protests, intersectionality and the connection of the LGBTQ+ movement with other movements and social groups, legal protection mechanisms for LGBTQ+ people, and the mental health of activists.
