01Association Da se zna!

Da se zna! is a civil society association founded in 2016, with its main focus on mapping and documenting unlawful conduct against LGBT+ persons in the Republic of Serbia.

As we have grown over time and expanded the scope of our work, we are now primarily focused on strengthening the community through legal and psychological support, direct engagement with community members, and running campaigns. We also carry out various advocacy activities aimed at relevant institutions and decision-makers.

02Mission

Da se zna! strives to empower the queer community and individuals to better understand their rights and demand their full realization before state institutions. We continuously encourage state institutions to improve practices in the field of social and legal protection of queer people, so that these practices are aligned with international human rights standards.

We achieve this through monitoring unlawful conduct actions motivated by homophobia and transphobia, advocating towards institutions, responding to the needs of the community, providing free legal and psychological support, as well as strengthening capacities through educational programs – both our own and those of other civil society organizations, decision-makers, the queer community, and the wider public.
