Eliminating Inequalities – Access to Justice for LGBT+ Persons in Serbia

Project description: The project aims to reduce violence and discrimination against LGBT+ persons and improve their integration into society through advocacy, targeted public dialogue, and strengthening work with the community. Da se zna! continues cooperation with the LGBT+ community, state institutions (with a special focus on the prosecutor’s office and judiciary), and the wider public to establish sustainable protection mechanisms against violence and discrimination. The project includes the preparation of case studies on unlawful actions motivated by sexual orientation and gender identity, monitoring Serbia’s fulfillment of international obligations, as well as using online activism and advocacy, thereby contributing to better inclusion and access to justice for LGBT+ persons in the country
