Police Ban Pride Caravan in Kruševac

Today, we received verbal notice from the Kruševac Police Department banning the Pride
Caravan in Kruševac.

According to the police, a large number of hooligans and football fans were gathered at Trg
Fontana, where the event was scheduled to take place, carrying objects dangerous to life, and
therefore the police stated they could not guarantee our safety.

Da se zna! strongly condemns the decision of the Kruševac Police Department to ban the Pride
Caravan. It is unacceptable that the police and the city of Kruševac succumbed to hooligans
and prohibited a peaceful public gathering that was legally registered. The Kruševac Police
Department had a duty to secure the event and to prosecute all individuals who endangered our
lives.
